Using Incommon Federation to Login
If you are an external collaborator and a member of a different institution (Ex. John Hopkins University), then you may access GW REDCap using our Incommon Federation Sign On. Incommon Federation is a secure single sign-on that provides access to collaboration tools across institutions. Essentially, you can access GW REDCap using your institution credentials (username and password)
NOTE: Not every institution has this available. Below is how to check.
- Access GW REDCap here
- Choose "Select" under "Log On Using Incommon"
- Start typing your institution name, if it appears, click it
- Log in with your institution credentials
After logging in, please proceed to sign up for training and complete the Account Agreement Form.
*External collaborators will not have the rights to create or copy projects, you can only be added to projects.*
